Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold medals in team competitions as well as in the floor routines. In the balance beam, Raisman received a bronze. She was one of the few American to have won the most medals at an Olympics. She won the gold for team at the 2016 Olympics, which also made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Additionally, she took home two silver medals in the floor exercise as well as the individual all-around. Over the period of three years between the two Olympics, she went on a break. Additionally, she was the gold-winning member of two American team in gymnastics. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice in the age of 2 and her favourite event is flooring exercise. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who died from cancer. In the future, she is planning to create a profession in fashion. It is also her goal to extend her leotards line and sock collection. She's writing a book called Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
