Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics in London she clinched gold medals for floor and team competitions as well as bronze for the balance beam. It made her the Olympic gymnast with the highest number of medals. In the 2016 Olympics she took home a gold medal at the team event. This earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being one of the very first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. Between the two Olympics she took a break from competitive gymnastics to rest for three months. She was also a part of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice in the age of 2 and she has a favorite activity exercises on the floor. Aly has a strong support for with the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in honor of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She wants to have the opportunity to have a career that is successful in fashion. Her signature leotards as well as socks, and other clothing will be expanded in the near future. Fierce is her first book, which will be released later in the year.
